The road to paradise – Captain Cook Highway at Pebbly Beach
The main street – Macrossan Street – is lined with boutique shops, pubs, restaurants, take aways, bars and apartment complexes. At the eastern end of the main street, you will find Portico Shopping Centre and popular Four Mile Beach.

The western end of Macrossan Street takes you to a Anzac Park, the Dickson Inlet, Sunday Markets and St Mary’s By The Sea. St Mary’s is well worth a visit with it’s large window behind the altar looking north over a beach to the Coral Sea, Snapper Island and Cape Tribulation beyond.
